Hopes and Dreams

“What are your hopes and dreams for the school year?” is a question I posed to your kids this week.  As part of Responsive Classroom, we wrote about last year and what we hope and dream for THIS year.  My goal is to always make your kids feel like they are safe, respected and able to learn.  We spent a couple of days brainstorming learning goals and what might be meaningful to each of them.  They are posted in our classroom and I loved how thoughtful they were about choosing their hopes and dreams for fourth grade.  Yay!
