Writer’s Notebooks

This is an OLD writer's notebook of mine.  This gaggle of boys are all a lot older now.  My Godson Carter is on the bottom right (he's 14 now!).  Send photos, postcards, stickers, and anything else they'd like to use to cover their precious notebooks!

Our writer’s notebooks are a place we can write about a wide variety of things.  They are often given direction (write a list of your favorite places, or draw a self-portrait and write character traits about yourself around your picture, etc.) but will also have opportunity to write anything they want.  My hope is that this notebook will become really important to them as they fill it with their thoughts.  We started covering our notebooks this week and they can bring things to cover them throughout the year.  Tickets, postcards, photographs, and stickers are all great ways to cover notebooks.
