Self-portraits

We will do several self-portraits throughout our year together.  Some will be quick, while others will allow kids to take their time.  I always love watching parents wander through the classroom on Curriculum Night, trying to find the faces of their kids.  Kids take time to look at themselves in the mirror and we discuss the shapes of their eyes, nose and mouth.  This is what happens when your teacher is also a certified art teacher. :)
