Making Connections

To help kids with new words, we occasionally do something called Making Connections.  This helps kids remember their new vocabulary words (this week, from social studies (5^th) and science (4^th), their definitions, sentences using the word, and an illustration about the word.  Ask your kids what words they choose for Making Connections this week.  Why did they choose them?  What do the words mean?  What did they draw to show the word?
