Flora and Ulysses – William Spiver

William Spiver is visiting his great aunt Tootie Tickham, who lives next door to Flora – and was the one who ran over Ulysses with her new vacuum cleaner.  He’s quite the character.  J  He’s a bit annoying (my William Spiver reading voice is a bit annoying too) but we’re starting to warm up to him a bit.  He claims he’s temporarily blind, but we haven’t found out why, or what happened to cause his blindness quite yet.  We continue to discuss characters and their traits as we read.  We are also keeping track of our thoughts in our Reader’s Notebook too.
