Recess!

Recess is an important part of the day.  Kids are learning to play with one another and get a chance to run, jump, laugh and interact with one another.  I love watching them play with each other and enjoy the friendships that emerge while playing on the playground.  The weather is getting really nice, so remember to kick your kids outside.  Take their devices away.  I mean it.  They need to breathe the fresh air, climb stuff, get dirty and enjoy the great outdoors.  Also, this sort of thing can happen…the building of an EPIC Bug Hotel/Resort.  

Imagination, kindness, cooperation, dirt, sticks, helpfulness, caring for creatures, swinging, jumping, flipping, running, tagging, compassion…just some of the words I think of when I watch kids play outside.
