Snow Day!
Two of my favorite words in the English language. I hope everyone had a fun day...and everyone has power! It's wet out there...and snow seems to keep falling from the sky.
March
March is a busy month and starts Friday with an assembly about all of the FUN activities you can do in March. Reading Night is on Monday, March 4th from 6:00-7:30. Come one, come all! It's nearly report card time again (they will go home on Monday, March 18th) and I will spend some time assessing kids in the afternoons in the next couple of weeks. Remember, we have no school on Monday, March 11th (it's a report card writing day).
Reading Buddy Fun!
Our first grade friends celebrated the 100th day of school the week before break. We joined them on Friday to make 100 Day Trail Mix! 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 100 YahoOoOo!
What happened to February!? Whoa.
We've continued to be busy...and once we get back from break, we'll get even busier! So much to get done, so much to see, do and investigate! I've been slacking! I'm so sorry. Here are some moments from the last few weeks before break. May this blog find you enjoying the last few moments of break!
Ice Skating!
What a wonderful experience! They had a ball. Everyone had a great time and I was so impressed with how well everyone did! It was great to see the changes in some of my 4th graders from last year...what an impressive group! Perseverance was the word of the day. They were troopers. They walked home very
s l o w l y....a tired group of accomplished skaters. Well done!
