Comic Books Invade Room 306!

They were delighted to learn that they were going to create their own comic book a few weeks back.  They looked at me like I was kidding, but eventually figured out that I was serious.  J  They started working IMMEDIATELY.  You could hear a pin drop in our classroom.  They wrote, illustrated and were eager to share their work.  What a fun writing project!  We discussed elements needed in comic books (similar to any other book) and ways to get the readers attention.  They really loved writing, illustrating, creating, and sharing their new comic books.  We will continue to study comic books throughout the year and I encourage you to ask them about the comics they created.  They are really talented!
