Mrs. McGee’s Class is
the bomb diggity!
This is
a picture of me. I took this picture
when I was in Ireland in July. It was my
first time across the pond and I had a marvelous time. I didn’t take many selfies before I went to
Europe, but I kind of liked taking them in different places while on my
trip.
Yay! I’m so glad you are joining me for 4th
grade this year! As I enter my 19th
year at Haisley, I am looking forward to being a part of your lives. The first day of school is always nerve
racking. I get butterflies too. Here are some things to keep in mind as you
come to Haisley on Tuesday, September 6th:
1. I am beyond excited to be
teaching you and having your parents support us throughout our journey
together.
2. It can be difficult walking into
a new place, but usually, it turns out to be a spectacular experience and
later, you can’t believe you were ever nervous.
3. If you are still nervous after
the first day, find a fifth grader who had me last year. Ask them to tell you a little bit about
me.
4. Here are some things you should
know about me: I like to laugh. Get ready to laugh a lot while we learn this
year. Being kind to one another is
really important to me. Start thinking
about some ways you can practice kindness this year. I love to write. Writing letters and postcards is one of my
favorite things to do. One of my
favorite things about teaching is being surrounded by amazing people all
day. It’s the best job in the entire
world. Happy New Year! Let’s get this year started!
