Indoor Recess

It has been a cold winter thus far.  As it turns out, that’s pretty much okay with this group.  They truly enjoy our classroom and keep themselves busy and engaged for the entire recess time.  Kids are obsessed with finger weaving – and I must confess, it’s CAPTIVATING to watch!  They are cranking out scarves, bracelets, necklaces, and anything else they can think of.  Dominoes have been a major part of recess and they continue to push their creations, figuring out more and more complicated ways of making the dominoes tumble.  When it doesn’t work, they always have a great attitude and can be heard saying “OHHHH, I get what we need to do next time!”  Awesome.
