CHOOSE KIND

It's no surprise that our CHOOSE KIND mascot is Presley Marie O'Malley McGee.  She chooses kind most of the time (unless she is stealing the covers) and looks cute on our class posters.  This concept, or life choice, is something really important to me.  I talk about it on a regular basis and hope that they come away  my classroom a kinder soul.  Kindness makes the world a better place, and makes US better people.  Being kind should happen EVERY SINGLE DAY of our lives.  Even when other people are mean, CHOOSE KIND.  Those two words will be heard a lot this year.

We will read the book WONDER, which is an amazing book and allows kids a wonderful way to experience the concept of choosing kind.
