The Garden…and our delicious salad!

We had a delightful time in the Haisley garden on Tuesday.  The weather was a wee bit chilly, but it didn’t stop us from planting, watering, weeding and picking salad ingredients.  The kids really enjoyed every moment of the entire process.  The garden is SPECTACULAR.  Three cheers to everyone who has worked so hard to create an amazing space for our kids.  We picked greens, chives, and cilantro to create an absolutely delicious salad.  My favorite quote of the day “This is the best salad I’ve ever eaten.  Seriously.”  The lesson?  Eat more salad!  J  Oh, and you can change up the salad dressing...we only had a dash of olive oil and some salt and pepper!  They thought it was beyond amazing.
