MATH

Math has begun!  Home Links came home in the homework packet on Friday.  I will only send math pages home of things we have worked on in class.  Please let me know if your child is struggling with a concept!  5^th graders are working on area and volume concepts, while 4^th graders are reviewing place value.  It’s important that kids are familiar with basic math facts (addition, subtraction and multiplication) at this time.  If they are struggling a bit, it’s really important for them to spend 5-10 minutes a day practicing.  Knowing their facts will help them in the every day work we will be doing all year long.
