World Read ALOUD DAY

Do you have a favorite book that was read aloud to you when you were younger?  Share it with your kids!

What a fun event!  We live-streamed authors sharing their new books and reading from them in the morning of World Read Aloud Day.  One of our own was excited about a book he had gotten from the public library and I asked if he’d be interested in reading it out loud to his classmates.  He obliged and did an amazing job.  I am so proud of him for taking this on, especially on such short notice!  Bravo!  Kids are getting really excited about the books we are reading in class.  I am eager to get back to some normalcy, schedule wise, but am pleased with how happy they all are reading their books.  I have several kids who are reading ADDITIONAL books, forming reading groups with their friends, and it makes me heart SING!  YahooOOO!  Please remind them to read at home too!  Remember, they aren’t too old to be read to!
