Our first field trip was a HUGE success!  This is always an amazing place to visit.  As it turns out, the journey is as much fun as the field trip!  Taking a city bus rocks.  From waiting for the bus and trying to get cars to honk (they were super successful in this endeavor!) to cruising through the city streets with a clear view of the road.  They LOVED it. 

Our mission, when we get to 826, is to help Dr. Blotch solve the mystery of her mission diary.  Who took it?  Who had motive?  Opportunity?  Who is a suspect?  What questions should we ask them?  Kids asked three suspects questions while Andre kept track of what we said on the computer and the screen projecting behind the suspects. 

After they question the suspects, they are asked to write a letter to Dr. Blotch explaining who they think took her diary.  They must provide EVIDENCE in their letter and it is put into a folder along with the case files for each suspect.  They produced GREAT letters!  If you haven’t seen them already, make sure you ask to see them!  They went home with kids on Friday.  Bravo!

You should also know that your kids ROCKED this field trip.  They were AMAZING.  YahoOOoO!
