Unit 1 – DONE!

Both 4^th and 5^th graders finished unit 1 in math this week.  There were a lot of great skills covered in these units. 

Here are a few pics about the FAMILY LETTER that will be coming home next week.  The family letters are handy, as they have answers to the homework questions.   The Do-Anytime Activities are a great way to practice math at home.  Kids should also know their addition/subtraction/multiplication facts!  If they aren't able to do them fairly quickly, they should spend about 10 minutes a day practicing them.  Knowing these facts quickly will make EVERYTHING in math easier.
