Postcards!

As a hobby, I take a lot of photographs.  I make them into postcards because they make great gifts AND I absolutely LOVE sending things in the mail.  

As part of the homework packet this week, kids are asked to write at least one postcard to someone.  Most kids took the maximum amount of postcards (3) and were REALLY excited to write to someone.  Getting mail is magical.  Postcards are a wonderful way for kids to practice their writing while making friends and family members happy to go to their mailboxes.
