This is such a fun place!  They say things and the appear on the white screen.  Magic.  

Cat is an amazing guide.  She leads the kids through their morning and pulls information from the kids with such skill.

The writing process continues.  Writing to Dr. Blotch and telling her who they think took her diary and why.

WOOoOoOoooooOOT!  This is one of my favorite field trips.  It’s so much fun to watch them talk about the writing process and then WRITE up a STORM afterward!  Dr. Blotch was in full effect today and had your kids interviewing suspects to see if they stole Dr. Blotch’s diary.  GREAT vocabulary words came out of our visit today.  Here are some of them: culprit, suspect, alibi, investigator, means, and opportunity.  Kids brought their FILES home today.  I was so proud of them – they rocked the bus ride, were patient while we were waiting, put a TON of effort into their writing, and impressed the staff of 826michigan with all of their knowledge!  BravoOoo!  This is one of my favorite places to visit.  For more information, visit their website:  826michigan.org.  They offer FREE tutoring too!  It’s such an amazing place!  SO.  MUCH.  FUN.
