Prime and Composite Numbers

So much to going on in math these days!  We are learning about prime and composite numbers and spent time writing them in two tables in our journals.  We then made prime/composite cheat sheets with colored pencils.  It was just as much fun to see the color patterns as it was to see that they were getting the concept!  Bravo! 

We’ve also been converting minutes into seconds and inches into feet.  Things that LOOK complicated, aren’t, when you know your basic multiplication facts!  Further proof kids need to practice their facts!  Five to ten minutes a day is all that’s needed!
