Math Vocabulary

We spend a lot of time talking about math vocabulary.  It can make things a lot more difficult and knowing specific terms is essential to mastering the skills we cover in 4^th grade.  I use illustrations a lot in everything we do – not just math, and I think it helps a lot of kids remember words they need to know.  This is a drawing I did while helping a group of kids on the carpet during math (that’s where we head when working in a group).  Look for math vocabulary to come home in their homework packets on Friday!
