THANK YOU!

Writing Thank You cards is something I think is an important skill for everyone to learn.  We write our rough drafts for our cards in our Writer’s Notebooks and then create a Hallmark worthy card to write our sentiments in.  The Ecology Center came a few weeks back and all of the kids are nearly finished with writing their cards to the lovely ladies who presented.  Here are things we write about:

What did you learn?  What activities did you do?  How could you use what you learned at home?  Do you have any questions you’d like them to answer? 

In addition, they create a beautiful work of art.  Their cards are reallllllly great and I am impressed with the quality of their writing too.  They’ve come so far since writing to the PTO in September!  Bravo!
