Morning Meetings

Our morning meetings continue to be one of our favorite times of the day.  Kids are learning interesting things about one another and connecting with each other based on the things they learn during our meetings.  We move around, talk to EVERYONE, learning how to talk to one another AND listen to one another.

We played a version of charades this week that was really fun.  I wrote things on cards that had to do with our classroom and they had to act them out.  Here are a few we tried:  Auggie meeting the kids at his school for the first time (from the book Wonder), Mrs. McGee telling a story, and your biography person.  SO.  FUN.  We will do this again soon, as it was so fun.  We only had time for 5 people to act out the charades, so we will continue to give everyone a chance to act one out.  YahooOoO!
